The Midwest Annual Conference

Home of the hardest working Pastors in African Methodism!

Thank You!

11th Anniversary CelebrationWords can not adequately express the overwhelming outpouring of love shown toward me and my family at my 11th Anniversary Celebration! Greater New Bethel was packed from front to back!

I want to express my thanks to the Anniversary Committee, the host pastor (Rev. Edward Walzer, Jr.), district churches, musicians, choirs, praise dancers, steppers, members, visitors and friends of the Midwest South District. To coin a saying from our Episcopate, Bishop T. Larry Kirkland, "The greatest sin of the human heart is the sin of ingratitude!"

Again, thank you very much for making my 11th Anniversary Celebration a day that will long be remembered!

Help Wanted!

My son, Mitch, has a thriving business, Blue Beetle (termites, other pests, etc.,) and Red Beetle (fire extinguishers).  The business has grown to the point of not having enough techs to handle the demand.  He has asked me to recruit reliable young men looking for a job, which includes $15 an hour plus a company car to drive back and forth to work.  No prior experience necessary.

The company is located at the corner of 63rd and Main--big blue house.  (816) 333-PEST (7378)  Ask for Rachel or Sydney

Thank you so much and I love you all!

Celia Square

Thank you Celia for your words of encouragement! When I started building Websites over twelve years ago, there were many people who could not see the importance of having an Online presence. I learned how to build and maintain Websites in order to reach beyone the walls of the local church into the global community. It hasn't been easy and many times I have considered giving up. I want you to know that people like you give me a reason to continue. Once again, thank you Celia!

Rebuilding The Wall Brick By Brick

To Our Christian Friends:

East Wall of Mariah WalkerWe, the members of Mariah Walker AME Church are pleading for your prayers and support as we are preparing to rebuild the wall of our church. As you may know, we have not been able to worship at Mariah Walker due to this damage. Mariah Walker has been our home for over 50 years and we want it to be open another 50 years. Our goal is to raise $10,000.00 by the end of June 2014 with God’s help. We are workers together with him.

We would be grateful for any donations as we prepare to return home with your help. Our situation should not change our praise and our praise can certainly change our situation.

“Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.” Haggai 1:8
